The reign of Shi Wang and the final moments of Zi Hui.

The Duke of Shi learned the literary style of the State of Lu, possessed extensive knowledge, and treated scholars with humility. He taught national customs through poetry and historical texts, and guided people's hearts towards goodness through rituals and music. He ruled the country for over forty years, during which time it was peaceful. However, his son, Duke Hui, lightly believed the words of Shi Kuang, neglected military preparations, and eventually was killed by Lü Dai.
