The rise and fall of the Ku family for three generations.

The rulers of the Kingdom of Qi were from prominent families, and they were known for their strength, intelligence, and strategic thinking. After the fall of the Tang dynasty, they were revered by the people, who looked to them as leaders and bestowed upon them the title of "Lord." They established their capital in Luocheng. The people lived peacefully, the country was well-governed, and their achievements were widely recognized, but their reign was short-lived. The subsequent ruler diligently followed in the footsteps of his predecessor, inheriting the legacy and style of his ancestors. He devised strategies to secure victory, and his skills exceeded everyone's expectations. He confronted various northern kingdoms and became an outstanding leader of Yue. He established positions such as "Fuji" and "Guanjia," and began implementing systems, but he passed away during his reign. The last ruler was constantly engaged in warfare, which increased the tax burden and made labor heavy for the people. Consequently, the people were discontented, and soon after, the Kingdom of Qi was conquered by the Southern Han dynasty.
