However, when it comes to things like "don't try to attract things yourself," and "leave it up to the universe," people tend to return to traditional religions.

318. The contradiction between "attraction" and "surrender" is, in fact, convenient.
When you want to fulfill a wish, "attract" it. When things don't go well, "let it go." And when things still don't go well, "believe that the universe has a better plan." This allows you to maintain your worldview, almost regardless of the outcome.
- Success: Attracted.
- Failure: Still unable to let go of it.
- Unexpected results: The universe has prepared something even better.
- Nothing happens: It is not the timing according to the universe.
This flexibility is very strong as a belief system.
